The new GEA Flex-Geko range of GEA fan-coil models heats and cools office and hotel rooms (to take only 2 examples) in recirculated-air mode – just as did their predecessor models GEA Basic and GEA Top-Geko. Rooms quickly reach the desired temperature, thanks to quiet and effective fans. Some models of the new fan-coil units can ensure satisfactory exchange of air even in mixed-air operation modes.
Both product lines – the standard GEA Flex-Geko model and versions for higher-quality expectations and requirements – are based on a mutual platform in the form of equipment layouts. This common platform enables offering our customers a greater number of application possibilities – despite a reduction over predecessor models in the total assortment of components. This means that it has become simpler to harmonize the equipment units to the individual requirements of the customer. For example: with the basic model, there are now new possibilities in selecting air-intake and outlet directions. An additional model size, furthermore, enables a selection of units more exactly matched to the customer’s performance requirements. In addition to these improvements, these new GEA fan-coil units feature new heat exchangers created by GEA developers – which means enhancement in the form of greater cooling and heating output in the same space.
The outward appearance of these fan-coil models has also changed. Upgraded technology is concealed behind a modern outfit, which is available for both product lines (standard and advanced) in the conventionally available standard colours. The advanced GEA Flex-Geko models are distinguished from the basic versions by a decorative strip.
