Product family of GEA extract fans
GEA RoofJETT

GEA RoofJETT roof extract fans – the perfect solution for decentral ventilation systems

Proven technology for the extraction of exhaust air and other, non-aggressive gases or vapours at a max. of +40 ... +400°C. GEA RoofJETT extract fans are available in 12 model sizes, up to 19,300 m³/h.

Also suitable for applications with special requirements:  for example, quiet operation and application in explosion-endangered areas.

When used together with GEA MATRIX®, GEA RoofJETT roof extract fans are the optimal combination with mixed-air systems such as GEA MultiMAXX®. These configurations ensure that the systems are harmoniously coordinated for purposes of air treatment, and that they will reliably perform their intended functions.

Areas of application

  • Normal exhaust air up to +40°C:  models RJVL (tiltable model) and RJNL (not tiltable)
  • Kitchen exhaust air from +40°C up to 120°C:  models RJVM (tiltable model) and RJNM (not tiltable)
  • Smoke exhaust up to 400°C/2 h (as per EN12101-3):  models RJVH (tiltable model) and RJNM (not tiltable)
  • Exhaust air for class EEx potentially explosive atmospheres up to +40°C:  models RJVX and RJVY

Benefits of GEA RoofJETT roof extract fan

  1. GEA system competency
    • In combination with MultiMAXX® mixed-air systems and the GEA MATRIX® intelligent control system, for optimal operation with inter-coordinated system components
    • Manufacture of systems with top-quality components from leading motor and fan brands
    • Comprehensive ventilation competency on a one-stop-shopping basis
  2. High degree of security
    • If RoofJETT is correctly installed, water cannot penetrate into the building through the installation opening or through the unit itself.
    • Owing to the special upward-slanting design of the base plate, with closed base-frame corners, water runs safely off.
    • The integrated cover flap prevents water from entering the fan wheel.
    • The cable penetrations are sealed off on all sides.
  3. Cost effectiveness
    • Twelve (12) model sizes and a choice from several motor variations allow free selection of air-output rating
    • Continuously variable motors ensure low operating costs, by adjusting the specific fan output to the actual requirements
    • Selection of output ratings between 500 and 20,000 m³/h
  4. Ease of site installation and maintenance
    • Saving of installation time (and money) by the automatic cover flap, made of light pressure-diecast aluminium (provided as standard)
    • The tiltable models allow the fan housing to be swivelled up for simply maintenance
    • GEA RoofJETT roof extract fans are double-protected against corrosion
    • The complete standard installation material is included in the scope of delivery.
