GEA Air Treatment launches a new product line of central ventilating systems on the market under the name GEA CAIR; CAIR stands for "Customized Air". The devices come in power levels of 500 to 105,000 cubic meters per hour (3 m/s at open cross-section). The most powerful of the well-tried predecessor – the AT Series – have now been supplemented by other attractive features: two series harmonised to customer requirements, a considerable expansion of available sizes, a further simplification of the device selection process aided by the expanded software solution Lplus, as well as an even more rapid and cleaner installation on location. In operation, the devices are convincing not only due to their high performance at lower energy consumption levels, but also by their increased resistance to soiling: thanks to smoother inner surfaces, integrated hinges and optional stainless steel model, bacteria and dirt cannot find a purchase, satisfying all the stringent requirements of VDI 6022 standards. The GEA CAIRplus product series is suitable for almost all required installation situations in new constructions as well as for retrofitting. Should the space available be limited and small air volumes required, it would be worth looking into the flat devices of the GEA CAIRpicco. With its COM4 systems, GEA Lufttechnik offers central air-handling solutions that combine – in compact form – all the important components required of an air-handling plant: fans, banks of filters, heat recovery, and closed-loop system control. And all in one single enclosure. These units are impressive enough, even before installation: owing to their fast dimensioning and their short delivery times. And during operation, they really show their worth with their low operating costs. The name “COM4” stands for the four features “complete”, “comfortable”, “compact”, and “communicating”. COM4 also indicates the 4 steps to your goal: after only a few questions, we know exactly which central air-handling unit from the COM4 family is the best for your requirements. Six model sizes are available for your specifications. As a result, COM4 covers requirements from 300 to 15,700 m³/h. This spectrum of performance means that the COM4 models satisfy a wide range of expectations: for office buildings, shops and cafés, residential buildings, kindergartens, and schools. COM4 is ideal for these typical application examples, both for new premises and for upgrading existing floor space.
