“We care for your atmosphere” is the motto of the GEA Air Treatment Division. The new CAIR line of airhandling units is designed to support you in optimally satisfying the requirements of your customers in implementing this slogan. The acronym "CAIR" stands for "customized air".
The new CAIR generation of air-handling units is impressive not only for its optimal modular dimensions – and, in turn, the choice of model options available – but also for its simple installation.
Selection of basic models
Indoor or outdoor units – vertical or horizontal installation – vertically stacked, in tandem, or adjacent to each other: almost any configuration is available with CAIR. According to your requirements for performance range and functionality, GEA offers you two series for GEA CAIRplus: Series S, with wall thickness of 30 mm and air-flow rating of 1,000 … 18,000 m³/h (at 3 m/s in open cross-section), provides the basis for the 38 standard unit profiles available. Series SX, with wall thickness of 50 mm and air-flow rating of 1,000 … 105,000 m³/h (at 3 m/s in open cross-section, devices for higher air-flow rates available upon request) is appealing not only because of its higher-quality characteristics – but also by its greater diversity of installation components.
All units – which, in addition are also available as indoor or outdoor units, in stainless steel as high-quality models for strict hygienic requirements – can be configured with our Lplus design software.
Installation sizes
GEA CAIRplus offers a broad product spectrum in the standard series. The large number of device cross-sections takes performance requirements and optimal measurements into account.
Modular dimensions
The grid spacing of 40 millimetres permit length-optimised devices. Additionally, installation space for piping and wiring is available in the device interior.
