GEA Air Treatment will show solutions for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning at the trade fair SHK 2008, in Essen, Germany, from 5 to 8 March 2008, in Hall 3.0, at Stand 148

Well tempered

With its presentation in Hall 3.0 (the traditional hall for heating displays) at the Essen industrial fairgrounds for SHK 2008, GEA Air Treatment from Herne, Germany, will underscore its competency in the field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. The systems shown by GEA are proven effective for the climate control of offices, hotels, industrial production buildings, sales rooms, and (for certain applications) homes. A number of models employ double and triple functions for supplementary comfort:  i.e., they can cool and/or provide air exchange, in addition to heating.

GEA offers, for example, various heating and cooling solutions for commercial real estate and industrial projects, as especially demonstrated by the models of the GEA MultiMAXX range. Outstanding features of these systems – e.g., heating output up to 130 kW, rugged bus-based control systems, special versions for use in the food and beverage industries and for employment in hazardous (e.g. explosion-endangered) atmospheres, as well as models that conform to VDI 6022 – make the following absolutely clear:  that heating technology is being offered here in customized form. These models are also available with cooling functions, to enable assurance of desired temperatures throughout summer or winter.

GEA satisfies similar requirements as well for offices, shops, hotels, museums, and similar facilities. A great number of opportunities are offered by the following:  models with fan boosting, fan-coil units mounted on the wall or in the open, room units for free convection, induction convectors that deliver primary air into the room, and numerous other solutions. GEA base heaters (floor convectors) enable architects to take full advantage of the possibilities of spacious glass façades. Cassette or ceiling-mounted cabinet fan-coil units, furthermore, offer great heating (and cooling) comfort and leave useful space free on the walls and floor for other items.

At SHK in Essen this year, GEA Air Treatment will show examples from its portfolio of room-installed equipment for heating and cooling, as well as one roof extract fan. The following models will be on display:

  • GEA MultiMAXX unit heaters – high-demand models are on stock for prompt delivery
  • GEA RoofJETT roof extract fans – acoustically modest, but technically highly effective
  • GEA Flex-Geko fan-coil units – a highly versatile system with an extensive range of accessories
  • GEA TriStyle-Geko fan-coil range – the fan-coil that noiselessly heats
  • GEA Cassette-Geko fan-coil units – great things come from the top down
  • Silent Comfort: the base heaters (floor convectors) SBQ and SBI
  • GEA acqua: affordable climate control for home applications
  • GEA MATRIX – and everything is under control
