The elegant TriStyle enclosure makes it especially interesting for hotels, galleries, offices and physicians’ practices, as well as for homes – i.e., wherever users place importance on aesthetics, quiet, and comfort. With a depth of 128 mm and a height of 655 mm with radiator (595 mm without radiator) – both height dimensions not counting the feet – it takes up little space in a room. The TriStyle provides pleasant coolness in summer and supplies cosy warmth in winter. Both model lines, with and without radiators, are available in 5 installation sizes, and achieve cooling capacities of 0.34 to 3.70 kW (with 7/12°C supply and return temperatures). The tangential (cross-flow) fan, together with air-guide vanes and sound-muffling matting, guarantee a very low level of noise output. During heating operations, the GEA TriStyle operates without the slightest noise with its optional radiator. The fan can kick in during heating, if the user wishes to bring the room back up to desired temperature especially fast. The TriStyle achieves heating output of up to 7.6 kW (at 70/50°C supply and return), depending on the model rating.
When fitted with feet (available as accessories), the TriStyle fan-coil unit can rest on the floor (for installation against the wall). Two mounting rails, delivered as standard components, enable wall instal-lation and make it easy to clean the floor under the unit. Installation in the open, away from the wall, is also possible with the required accessory kit. To save space, the flat form of the unit also allows the TriStyle to be installed, without an enclosure, above suspended ceilings, or in parapet walls. The compact dimensions of the GEA TriStyle are especially helpful in building restoration and upgrading. Users are astonished when they upgrade from conventional heating systems: despite its dual heating and cooling functions, the GEA TriStyle is no larger than a conventional radiator.
All components required for connection to the building piping system are installed inside the TriStyle. The water connection can be to the left or the right. Changing the filter is fast and simple, and the ventilation grating of the GEA TriStyle can be easily removed while the unit continues to operate. As soon as the grating is removed, the fan will automatically stop.
