Filter solutions by GEA Delbag Lufttechnik GmbH, of Herne, Germany, assure healthy workplace conditions in the metalworking industry. Their advanced technology assures great separation performance, with low power consumption and compact space requirements at the same time. One prime example for these filter solutions is the MultiTron Premium electrostatic precipitator, introduced to the market in late 2007, which has been especially optimized for precipitation of cooling lubricants. It contains the patented wave-shaped ionizer for greater filtration efficiency, as well as innovative lotus insulators with self-cleaning action. The MultiTronic filter-control system assures top performance: as first control system of its kind, it effectively monitors the high-voltage section of the precipitator.
In addition, GEA Delbag Lufttechnik will present the MultiAir Premium compact filter system at METAV. It is based on mechanical filter media and was further developed with respect to build and efficiency to assure optimal separation of emulsion mist. Exhibited products will also include the EuroJet compact cartridge-type dust collector for filtration of dry dusts. It can be equipped with filter cartridges from the MultiPuls replacement system, in which only the filter medium is exchanged instead of the entire cartridge. This reduces waste and lowers operating costs
