Since its founding in 1947, GEA Deichmann has continuously developed to become a technology leader in industrial dust extraction. In the more than six decades since its founding, the company has developed many pioneering innovations and introduced them to the market.

Between 1953 and 1975, for example, development of the revolutionary Deichmann bag filter took place, with granting of a patent for this work. Production then began of Deichmann Jetfilter bag filters. This innovation enables customers continuous use of these filters without down times during pulse-jet cleaning of filters. Development and patenting of innovative, self-supporting filter media began in the early 1990s. These innovations significantly reduced the material requirements of filter systems. Spiral filter tubes have likewise been developed up to series production. This process created a high-performance product in the compact-filter range.
