GEA Deichmann Compact Jet Filters are dust-collecting systems that highly efficiently implement high air-extraction capacities. They operate with Deicolon filter elements. Applications of these multi-functional compact systems range from dust filtration of industrial workplaces to air purification of cleaning and grinding booths, and include metal-spraying facilities. As a product extractor, the system has proven to be highly efficient in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries – as well as in activities involving pigment production, metallurgical processes, and many similar areas.
GEA Deichmann Compact Jet Filters are designed for new plants as well as for the upgrading of existing facilities. Space requirements are about half those involved with conventional filter systems. The ready-to-install Deicolon filter elements shorten the filter-exchange time of conventional solutions by almost two-thirds. The design of GEA Deichmann Compact Jet Filters allows the exchange of individual spiral-filter tubes of the Deicolon filter elements: which minimizes the costs of spare parts.
GEA Deichmann Compact Jet Filters operate on the basis of a modular dust-filter system. These jet filters can be installed vertically or horizontally, and have an air-filter capacity of 2,000 to 50,000 m³/h. These compact jet filters are ideally suited for industrial areas with difficult dust problems. They achieve a clean-air dust content down to 0.1 mg/Nm³.
Selection of compact filter elements
Compact filter elements have a design and structural form that allow them to perform their functions in a small space. They are primarily installed to the side of the dust-laden zone. This configuration allows their use in buildings with low story heights. The various forms of the filter elements enable optimal applications for each case. Air Treatment distinguishes among three standard compact filter elements.
